In plain language

  • We collect only what we need to reply to you, provide services, bill and improve our website.
  • We never sell or rent personal data.
  • We share data only with trusted providers, the platforms needed to deliver your services, and authorities where the law requires.
  • You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or opt out of marketing, at any time.
  • This policy covers visitors and clients in India, the UK and EU, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf countries.

1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how LA DIGITS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data when you visit ladigits.com (the “Website”), contact us, request a quotation, or become our client.

We serve businesses in India and internationally, including the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. This policy is written to meet the main requirements of the data protection laws of those regions, and Section 13 explains the rights available to you where you live.

This policy does not cover data about our clients’ own customers that we handle on a client’s behalf while delivering services. In that case the client decides how the data is used and its own privacy notice applies, and we act only on the client’s instructions.

2. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller (or “data fiduciary” under Indian law) for this Website is:

LA DIGITS
34-100, MC Road, Kottayam, Kerala 686631, India
Email: info@ladigits.com · Phone: +91 97784 57977

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, please contact our Grievance Officer at info@ladigits.com with the subject line “Privacy request”.

3. Personal data we collect

Information you give us

Name, business name, job title, email address, phone and WhatsApp number, city and country, website and social media links, the services you are interested in, budgets, messages, files you upload, and anything else you choose to tell us through forms, email, calls, WhatsApp or meetings.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Website, our systems and tools may collect your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages visited, time spent, referring website, and interactions with buttons and forms. This is collected through server logs, cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

Information from clients and third parties

When you become a client, we may receive business account information, access permissions and performance data from platforms such as Google, Meta and analytics tools, and we may collect publicly available business information when preparing an audit or proposal.

Information we do not want

Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account, government ID, biometric, religious or political information) unless it is genuinely needed for a service and we have asked for it.

4. How we use personal data

  • to reply to enquiries, prepare quotations and proposals, and arrange consultations;
  • to provide, manage and improve our services, and to communicate about projects;
  • to send invoices, collect payments and keep accounting and tax records;
  • to operate, secure and improve the Website, prevent spam and fraud, and understand how visitors use it;
  • to send service updates and, where permitted, marketing messages about our services (you can opt out at any time);
  • to comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Where laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we rely on:

  • Contract: to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform our services;
  • Legitimate interests: to run and secure our business and Website, respond to business enquiries and market our services to businesses, balanced against your rights;
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies and certain marketing, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • Legal obligation: to keep tax, accounting and legal records.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data for the purposes you provide it for, on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses permitted by the Act.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising tools

The Website may use essential cookies and, where enabled, analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure visits and improve our marketing. Where the law requires consent (for example in the UK and EU), non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

7. Marketing communications

We may send you information about our services by email or WhatsApp where you have asked for it, where you are an existing client, or where the law otherwise allows business-to-business marketing. Every marketing message gives you a way to opt out, or you can simply reply “STOP” or email us. We never send marketing to people who have opted out.

8. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only where necessary with:

  • service providers who help us run our business (website hosting, email, form and messaging tools, cloud storage, analytics, accounting and payment providers) under confidentiality and data protection obligations;
  • advertising and technology platforms (such as Google and Meta) where needed to deliver services you have asked for;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers;
  • government, regulators, courts or law enforcement when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public;
  • a successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the same protections.

9. International data transfers

We are based in India, and some of our service providers store or process data in other countries. If you are outside India, your data will be transferred to and processed in India and possibly other countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, for example for data from the UK or EU, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected wherever it is processed.

10. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Client and project records: for the duration of the engagement and then as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes, generally up to 8 years under Indian law.
  • Website analytics: according to the retention settings of the analytics tool, typically 14 to 26 months.
  • Marketing suppression lists: kept so that we respect your opt-out.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

11. How we protect data

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, strong passwords and two-factor authentication on key accounts, limited staff access and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

12. Your general rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, email info@ladigits.com. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner where local law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
